Streamline the process of creating rings from minted coins with this Jason's Works 5/8" punch & die set, designed to work with the auto punch & die housing. The die is clearly marked with the punch size and aligns in the housing. The larger hole you can make with this punch allows you to produce rings from larger coins, such as the Morgan or Silver Eagle dollar, more easily and in larger sizes or to produce finished rings that have a slightly narrower band than is produced with the 1/2"-dia. punch & die pair. This punch has precision-ground cutting edges, angled so that they cut more cleanly and require less force to make the cut.

Jason Stinchfield, founder and owner of Jason's Works, raised the idea of creating rings out of minted coins to a professional level and pioneered techniques and tooling that make the process fast, effective and repeatable. His work is widely recognized among jeweler/metalsmiths who work with coins to produce memorable pieces of wearable art. He chooses to openly share his own experience and the techniques he has developed, freely exchanging ideas and experiences with colleagues; this has brought rapid growth and vibrancy to this area of jewelry design.
