Sterling Silver Scroll ReadySet™ 8mm Round Ring Mounting
Alternate Text Sterling Silver Scroll ReadySet™ 8mm Round Ring Mounting

Description

This sterling silver ring mounting features open scrollwork designs on the shank and a 4-prong pre-notched basket mounting that holds one 8mm (approx.) round faceted stone—a decorative bead enhances both sides of the basket mounting.

Easy to set with professional-looking results, ReadySet™ settings have pre-notched prongs that help ensure beautiful, time-saving stone-setting. Basket settings feature open sides designed to allow more light to reach and move through the stone, enhancing its brightness and brilliance. Set your stone into the prongs to check the fit. If necessary, adjust the seat to best accommodate your stone. To secure the stone in place, burnish the prongs over the stone.

IMPORTANT: Sterling silver is an alloy containing metals that react with chemicals found in air and produce tarnish; high moisture levels, exposure to sunlight and contaminants such as salt water increase this reaction. Take steps to protect your sterling findings by keeping them in airtight packages, use tarnish-resistant products (such as tarnish tabs or strips) that absorb harmful chemicals, and store sterling findings in a cool, dry place. Most tarnish is easily removed by polishing with a mild abrasive or soaking in an anti-tarnish solution.
