Description

These very fine, needle round-nose forming pliers from Swanstrom have slightly concave jaws that hold wire securely while you make jump rings, small rings and loops, and bends in wire and flat stock. Forming pliers have a variety of jaw configurations designed to maximize the ability to bend, shape or form wire, strip and sheet. They are ideal for creating ring shanks, opposing curves (waves or corrugation), angles and patterns. The anti-glare finish prevents eye strain caused by reflective glare and increases visibility of the workpiece.
• These pliers have an adjustable lap joint; the screw allows the joint to be adjusted as needed.
• The knurled jaw stop prevents over-extension of the tool and allows for even pressure throughout the length.
• The double-leaf spring holds the pliers open and ready to use until they are squeezed closed and delivers a fast, strong rebound for improved productivity.
• The ergonomic Soft-Touch™ textured handles are exceptionally comfortable, allowing for extended use even in fine, detailed work. All Swanstrom tool handles are latex-free.

Swanstrom Tools manufactures technically advanced cutters and pliers, forged from high chromium, high carbon alloy steel and hardened to 65 HRC. This material, along with a unique proprietary heat-treating process and computer-controlled induction edge-hardening maximize tool life.
