This sterling silver lever-back ear wire features a 50mm-dia. beading hoop dangle. Add decorative beads, charms or other components (hole size must be at least .032") to the straight end of the hoop, then insert the wire end into the tube and crimp the tube to securely and permanently close the hoop.
A hinged closure helps protect against loss and makes lever-back ear wires a snap to put on. A short length of open channel is perfectly sized to accommodate the short, arched wire that goes through the ear. Simply insert the wire and close the lever over it to secure the earring in place.
• IMPORTANT: Sterling silver is an alloy containing metals that react with chemicals found in air and produce tarnish; high moisture levels, exposure to sunlight and contaminants such as salt water increase this reaction. Take steps to protect your sterling findings by keeping them in airtight packages, use tarnish-resistant products (such as tarnish tabs or strips) that absorb harmful chemicals, and store sterling findings in a cool, dry place. Most tarnish is easily removed by polishing with a mild abrasive or soaking in an anti-tarnish solution.
