This sterling silver bezel component mounting features walls modeled from gallery wire and beaded detailing at the top and bottom of the component; a fixed ring is designed into the top of the component. The mounting holds one 14 x 10mm oval cabochon or other flat-back stone. Use the component as an earring drop, a pendant, or as one element in more complex necklace and bracelet designs. Bezel cups provide an easy way to set your stones and finish with clean lines and professional-looking results. Place your stone in the bezel and push the walls inward over the stone, holding it in place. For added security, if desired, place a drop or two of jeweler's epoxy in the cup before placing the stone.
