Make sure you always have the correct stone on hand for custom birthstone jewelry with this set of simulated birthstones. Lab-created and machine-cut, these birthstones offer the look of natural stones at a fraction of the price. Use them to create simple rings or earrings, or combine birthstones to create memorable necklaces, pendants or bracelets.

Round-cut gemstones are highly popular and the most commonly available. Rio round gemstones are calibrated for size and hand inspected to ensure maximum attractiveness.

This set contains 120 2mm round simulated birthstones, 10 for each month:

January—Garnet: lab-created corundum (IMIT); safe to cast in place, may be fired in place in silver PMC at lowest heat settings.

February—Amethyst: lab-created spinel doublet (ASBL); assembled with an adhesive, it is important to NOT apply heat to this gemstone.

March—Aquamarine: lab-created spinel (IMIT); safe to cast in place.

April—Cubic zirconia: lab-created (SYN); safe to cast in place.

May—Emerald: lab-created spinel doublet (ASBL); assembled with an adhesive, it is important to NOT apply heat to this gemstone.

June—Alexandrite: lab-created corundum (IMIT); safe to cast in place, may be fired in place in silver PMC at lowest heat settings.

July—Ruby: lab-created corundum (SYN); safe to cast in place, may be fired in place in silver PMC at lowest heat settings.

August—Peridot: lab-created spinel doublet (ASBL); assembled with an adhesive, it is important to NOT apply heat to this gemstone.

September—Sapphire: lab-created corundum (SYN); safe to cast in place, may be fired in place in silver PMC at lowest heat settings.

October—Tourmaline: lab-created corundum (IMIT); safe to cast in place, may be fired in place in silver PMC at lowest heat settings.

November—Topaz: lab-created corundum (IMIT); safe to cast in place, may be fired in place in silver PMC at lowest heat settings.

December—Blue zircon: lab-created spinel (IMIT); safe to cast in place.
