Made by Legor Group, this formulation of MIDAS® Ultrabright rhodium solution offers exceptional brightness and a forgiving range of heat and voltage settings. Unlike other rhodium formulas, Ultrabright is not easily burned in the plating process. In addition, you can achieve a plating thickness from 0.2 to 0.5 microns. Another great benefit is that the acid level in this solution is low enough that hazardous shipping charges do not apply!
Rhodium is a bright white, tarnish-resistant, hard metal in the platinum group—ideal for giving jewelry a brilliant white finish. Plate rhodium directly onto platinum, gold or nickel only. With a preliminary nickel plate, you can plate onto silver and copper alloys. With a preliminary copper plate followed by nickel, you can plate Midas rhodium onto tin, lead, brass and bronze alloys. Use Midas rhodium with a platinized titanium anode.
This 1/2-liter bottle contains 1 gram of rhodium.
This solution can be used at room temperature; however, for best results, heat the solution as directed.
