Description

Formulated by Legor® Group, this carbon-free nickel-based white working master alloy is intended for all types of mechanical working applications; it delivers a good white color and a high-quality surface at a budget-friendly price. This alloy features good characteristics for plastic deformation, is soft and easy to work, and offers particularly good results for tubing, wire and sheet.

Carbon-free alloys contain drastically reduced (by at least 10 times) levels of carbon, greatly reducing the risk of reactivity issues during solidification, which results in a significantly higher surface quality in the finished casting.

A master alloy casting grain is a pre-formulated mix of base-metal elements; add the appropriate amount of precious metal grain to the master alloy to create the casting alloy you need.
