Easily cut curves as well as create freeform and uniquely-sized cabochons with this Inland DB-100™ band saw. A variable speed, DC permanent magnet motor with a built-in speed control allows you to adjust your cutting speed based on the sharpness of the curves and the thickness of the material you're cutting. The saw cuts stones and wood up to 3" thick, glass sheets up to 1" thick—even glass bottles up to 3" in diameter; use slower speeds when cutting thick material.
The DB-100™ band saw can be run wet or dry, depending on the blade and the material being cut, and offers a cooling water delivery system. A coolant reservoir holds 8 ounces of water, uses 3/16" tubing and delivers a continuous water drip during wet cutting, allowing you to achieve a clean cut while keeping the blade cool so you can work longer without scorching the material being cut. A blade coolant guide allows you to position the tubing with the water supply precisely where its needed, ensuring the blade remains cool and lubricated while cutting.
This DB-100™ band saw includes three saw blades, each ideal for cutting different materials, and an instruction manual.
