Graphite conductive paint is used to coat workpieces in preparation for electroforming. The fine particle size of the paint helps keep fine details intact. More affordable than silver paint, graphite delivers excellent conductivity and is darker and easier to see (making it easier to apply precisely). Apply two thin coats and allow it to dry completely prior to electroforming. Clean up graphite paint easily with soap and water.
For organic items, apply varnish first to completely seal the item and allow it to dry thoroughly before applying conductive paint.
• Use with matte primer (item 118103) for better adhesion on smooth surfaces.
