This double-ended Friedrich Dick wax file features two half-round ends and is ideal for working on the insides of wax ring shanks and other curved or surfaces. Each end has one flat and one rounded side with teeth on both; one side is coarse and the other is fine. The tapering width and the fine point allow it to access crevices and small openings and details, and corners.

Wax files feature broad patterns of coarse teeth that quickly and efficiently cut and shape hard wax and other relatively soft materials for model-making. The teeth resist clogging, allow you to form the basic shape for your design models, and then refine their details prior to creating molds.

Among the finest jewelers' files in the world, Friedrich Dick files are made of tough chrome/tool steel alloy and precisely machined to yield sharp corners and fine points. These files have deep-cut teeth that provide efficient, uniform stock removal and are 66–67 HRC hardness for exceptional service with minimal care.
