Freshwater Cultured Round Pearl Strands, Chocolate, Gold, and White, A-Grade

The multi-hued A-grade round freshwater cultured pearls on this strand feature an assortment of chocolate, gold and white colors that are perfect for combining with silver or gold findings in autumn-inspired necklace and bracelet designs. For a more dramatic look, split-up the strand and use the pearls with other styles and colors of beads in earrings, drops and dangles.

Freshwater cultured pearls are cultivated in fresh water from mussels, often the triangle shell mussel (Hyriopsis cumingii), that are specially selected for their prolific production of nacre. It is not unusual for a single mussel to produce multiple pearls simultaneously. According to one legend, the pearl was formed from the tears of the goddess of love. For many, pearls are a symbol of pure heart and mind, honesty and integrity.

A-grade pearls feature surfaces that show a few insignificant blemishes. Their luster is good, exhibiting some depth.
