This E.C. Muller point graver features a V-shaped cutting edge useful for shading, lettering, lines, borders, background removal and several other jeweler's tasks such as stone-setting and inlay work. The graver is designed for jewelers, engravers, stone setters and watch makers and can be modified for use with all engraving systems and power handpieces, such as GRS® and Foredom®. Made from high-speed steel, this graver has a hardness that stubbornly holds its edge to minimize sharpening time yet also allows custom reshaping when you need to achieve a specific configuration.
Established in New York City in 1898 by Edward C. Muller, who learned his craft from the Swiss-German masters of the late 19th century, the E.C. Muller Corporation developed a worldwide reputation for manufacturing high-quality hand-engraving tools for professional engravers and produces a full line of jeweler's gravers, including exceptional line gravers.
