Ideal for closing prongs and for forming and flattening wire, sheet and strip, these Del Rey™ long flat-nose pliers feature flat interior surfaces and a longer jaw for shaping metal. The 6" overall length delivers additional leverage. On flat-nose pliers, both jaws are flat, with a smooth interior surface; use them for making wider, broader bends in wire, metal-forming, straightening and flattening out metal, making angled bends and holding components. The tough, rust-resistant stainless steel delivers reasonable tool life and good value.
• These pliers have a sturdy box joint; one half of the joint surrounds the other half, and the pivot is contained within. This joint holds its alignment far longer than a lap joint but allows the tool to open only as far as the box size.
• The textured, ergonomically shaped handles ensure a comfortable, non-slip grip that reduces hand fatigue.
