Description

This 5/8" punch & die pair broadens your design options when creating rings from minted coins using the Jason's Works coin ring housing. The larger hole you can make with this punch allows you to produce rings from larger coins, such as the U.S. Morgan silver dollar or the U.S. Silver Eagle dollar, more easily and in larger sizes or to produce finished rings that have a slightly narrower band than is produced with the 1/2"-dia. punch & die pair.
Like all the punches in the coin ring set, this punch has precision-ground cutting edges, angled so that it cuts more cleanly and requires less force to make the cut.
After punching, you will need reduction dies (available separately) to fold the coin outward, forming the ring band.

Specifications:
  • Brand : Jason's Works
  • Dimensions : 3-1/4"L x 3/4" dia.
  • Material : Hardened tool steel
  • Country of origin : United States

Please Note: • After punching, the cut disc must be removed from the die; the opening at the bottom of the coin punch housing is not large enough for this size disc to fall through. Take the die from the holder, set it upside-down over the smallest opening on your ring sizer plate, and use a wood dowel (or other non-marring tool) and brass mallet to pop the disc from the die. Alternatively, you can put the die back into the holder upside-down, insert a dime-sized spacer and tighten down the holder; then use the dowel and mallet to free the disc from the die.
