Using foxtail chain to string gives you a strong strand and a clean professional finish. Learn how to string your beads onto the foxtail and then how to finish your foxtail.
To finish the cut end of the foxtail with a jump ring, carefully remove the cut loops at the very end of the foxtail using needle-nose pliers.
Push a scribe simultaneously through all four links of the second set of links, creating a single loop at the end of the foxtail. Attach a jump ring to the loop.
Make a self-needle with foxtail by crushing the first inch of the remaining end of the foxtail with pliers, then turn the foxtail 90° and crush it again.
String your beads, then repeat to finish the other end of your foxtail. Add a clasp to complete the strand.
