Did you know great quantities of white topaz come from Brazil? Some clear topaz crystals from Brazilian pegmatites are boulder size and weigh hundreds of pounds. Many jewelers value white topaz because it is a natural gemstone, white and beautiful. Interestingly, white topaz is also the starting point for both traditional blue topaz, and is the base gemstone for an exciting line of TCF™ (Thermal Color Fusion) topaz from Swarovski Gemstones™.

Topaz is a relatively hard gem, with a Moh’s value of 8. Swarovski Gemstones™ has perfected its Natural Brilliance Cut to maximize the elegant and scintillating allure of topaz. The prestigious Fraunhofer Society of Germany, which conducts research in optics, certifies that Swarovski’s exclusive Natural Brilliance Cut is 58% more brilliant than the market standard for a star cut topaz.

Sourcing your topaz from Swarovski Gemstones™ means you are working with a solid, responsible partner. Swarovski Gemstones™ is committed to responsible production, as well as improving gemstone supply-chain transparency. This is very important! Rio Grande has spent many gemological hours screening other non-Swarovski sources of white topaz, simply to ensure that the product we were distributing was real topaz! At times, our gemologists have found white quartz or other minerals mixed into the topaz parcels. Swarovski’s commitment to quality and integrity means that you will only receive natural white topaz of the highest quality standards.

Rio Grande offers multiple colors from the Swarovski Gemstones™ TCF™ color palette. Each of these colors originated from a natural white topaz. After being cut to perfection, the white topaz receives the patented TCF™ treatment. This enhancement creates durable colors of proven permanence without the use of radiation.

Enjoy the golden hues of Honey Topaz, the electric blue of Paraiba Topaz, the soft Baby Pink Topaz or the vibrant Kashmir Blue Topaz. Regardless of the color or shape you select, you will appreciate Swarovski’s precision facets that are accurately and specifically cut and aligned. The girdle consistency is optimized both in thickness and polishing, while the crown consistency is maximized in terms of height and pavilion depth.

Try a selection or two from the Swarovski Gemstones™ topaz assortment. We predict you, and your customers, will love them!
