This handy riveting system easily pierces workpieces and sets 1/16"-diameter semi-tubular rivets up to 9/32" long. Each semi-tubular rivet has a solid head that creates a finished look and a tubular end that is set by a flaring method to create a secure, clean and consistent cold connection.
First, a piercing tool on one end of the riveter creates a hole to accommodate the rivet. Then the semi-tubular rivet is added and the metal is pressed in the flaring tool on the other end to precisely and cleanly set the rivet. To set eyelets with this tool, you will need the 1/16" standard eyelet flaring accessory.
The interchangeable tool sets are all machined from heat-treated tool steel, giving it the strength to pierce non-ferrous material up to 12 gauge. This system includes:
• One piercing base
• One Allen wrench
• Sample assortment of aluminum, brass, and copper rivets
