1  The main feed sprue diameter should equal
the sum of the two connecting gates for
optimal flow of metal into the pattern.

2  Balance the thickness with a single sprue of equal thickness, and there should be equal thickness everywhere.
Please Note: Round gates are best, and
3mm round is the best for most patterns.
