How To Price It Right

Know how to share pricing with customers and not leave them feeling overwhelmed by numbers. The price is a crucial piece of information that customers look for but it should be just one of many attributes you want the customer to know about.
Here are a few ways to add pricing to your jewelry for sales success.

• Discreet but clearly visible price tags give your customers buying information up front, an important benefit for busy shops or booths run by one or two people.

• Tagging your items with a price also means you won’t have to remember the price (or make an interested customer wait while you look it up) for every item you sell.

• Choose a tag size that is in proportion to the jewelry items themselves. Rings, for example don't need a tag two or three times as big as the rings are. Conversely, an appropriate size for a ring may look lost (or worse, deliberately difficult to see) on large jewelry items or on pieces of gift ware, jewelry art or hollowware.
